Wandering Soul

Wandering soul where are thou

Do you think you have no home

Wandering across this land all alone

You have been dragging all that you own

bags lagging behind you sliding on the ground

You hunger

You thirst

You continue to look around

        Hoping you will find food

Hoping someone will take you in

But have you not heard my voice all along

Calling for you to come home

There is no need for you to wander out here alone

I have already prepared a place for you to call home

It is here with Me in the place that I dwell

It is here that all is well

 My poor wandering soul

Don’t you know I’ve already claimed you as my very own

Why won’t you answer when I call

Why must you choose to wander out here and die

Why will you not come and sit at My table

A place is already set if you are willing and able

    To just come

Stop taking the unnecessary journey

And sit, live, eat, and dwell with me

Here to a place where you can be FREE

So many times we look to the the wrong place for acceptance, when the answer is right in front of us. The hardest thing for people to do is accept the truth.
